Come and experience the UK's biggest County Scout and Guide Jamboree

Facilities On Wednesday 30 July the Jamboree site will welcome Guide and Scout Groups and families to experience the international adventure of a Jamboree.

£5 per person (Under 5s FREE)

There will be a wide range of events and activities to keep you busy

The Programme

1) 10:30am- Jamboree site opens to visitors

Free Fairtrade Bananas
Giveaway for first 2000 visitors


2) 11am – Falconry Flying – Activities arena

3) 11am – 1pm – Penny Fayre’s at each Sub Camp Gateway – money raised to go to the Colchester Zoo Conservation Programme

4) 12:30 – 1.30pm – Lunch with the South East Essex Youth Symphony Orchestra - Main stage

5) 2:30pm – Race to Extinction: Build your own endangered animal chariot! - Judging followed by race - Activities arena

6) 3:45pm – Falconry Flying – Activities arena

7) 5pm - Open Day Finale - Main stage

8) 4:30pm - Jamboree site closes to visitors

Open Day Wristbands


You can purchase your wrist bands at the gate on Open Day. Use the PAY NOW entrance and purchase your wristbands at £5 per person.

Wristband sales are now only available on the gate on the day as the pre-booking deadline has passed.

If you have pre-booked your wristbands you can fast-track arrival on the day by going through the PRE-PAID entrance.

Parking
Parking will be available but help us save the environment and creating queues by car sharing or coming by coach. Unfortunately public transport is not linked to the site but why not find out if other parents and families from your Group are going and you could share a ride.
