Staff Entertainments

Opening Ceremony
Subcamps will be collected from 19.30 and led into the market square, where the house band will entertain the crowds. Once the opening ceremony has finished the live and dance tents will open. Live bands will perform in the live tent and a disco is in the dance tent. The staff entertainments and bar area will open at approximately 22.15, closing, after a disco, at 23.00.

Jamboree Week

Each evening of the Jamboree will have the same start times and closing times, as follows:

Staff Entertainments: 20.30 - 23.00
Main Outdoor Stage: 19.30 – 21.00
Live Tent: 20.30 - 22.30
Dance tent: 20.30 - 22.45
Cinema: 20.00 - 22.30/45
Street Entertainments: 20.00 - 22.00


Entertainments for Staff
Each night at 8pm:

Sunday: Quiz night
Monday: Rock ‘n Roll night
Tuesday: Acoustic Night
Wednesday: Acoustic Night
Thursday: School Disco

Closing Ceremony
Subcamps will be collected, in a different order from the opening ceremony. Once the main closing ceremony is over, the party will continue in the market square. At 23.00 the Jamboree will end with a short ceremony and fireworks.
The staff entertainments and bar will open approximately 45 minutes after the main ceremony is over, although everyone is welcome to stay in the market square for the party.

Saturday 2^nd August 2008

The Famous Potatoes have been booked to enable the staff to let their hair down and dance the night away in a family atmosphere. The Party starts with the first dance at 20.00, although the Hog Roast will be available before this. Unfortunately Essex International Jamboree will have come to an end for staff as participants aswell. See you next time!
